Senator Max Baucus Drunk on Senate Floor?

In a bit of irony, Democrat Senator Max Baucus lectures the senate on the need for health reform, while appearing to be drunk.

Check it out for yourself:

Seemed like it to me...

  1. Does the bill provide him with free detox?

  3. not drunk -- they (the dem senators) are all high on crack! (and yes, capitalization was intentional).

  4. I think we should enable them some more. Seriously considering sending them all a bottle of booze. It seems to bring out the best in them.

  6. This guy is definitely drunk on something else included the power of his politics.

  7. Unbelievable? Not really. What else do you expect from Dem Senators who are led by the nose by dingy Harry Reid? Another round please shenator!! Hickup!

  8. Could it be that the "other side of the aisle" may not have a bipartisan version of the bill because THEY DO NOT WANT a health care bill at all? Period. The dems can talk all day (drunk or not) and it won't change the fact that half of the people think this is an expensive, bad idea. And we don't want to have small business paying for it for it will KILL capitalism and free enterprise and new jobs and PROGRESS in our economy. (I wonder if that isn't the plan...destroy America and start over as a COMMUNIST country.)

  9. I'll be happy to provide a bottle of booze to any crimal Senator or Congressman that obviously already has one foot in the grave. Here's your banana peel.

  10. That was "criminal", btw. Been a long day.

  11. What is unusual about this? They steal and nothing is done about it. They lie and nothing is done about it. They refuse to listen to the American people and nothing is done about it. There is nothing noteworthy here that hasnt been seen in grander form already this past year. Until people are ready to do something about it there really isnt much point in worrying about it. I cant replace the senator from Montanna. They have to do that. I cant replace Harry Reid, Nevadans have to that. I cant Replace Pelosi, San Franciscoans have to that.

  12. I believe this man is drunk because he knows that his anchor is tied to corruption-ad- infinitem. And he wants to drown out that voice inside that says, you're in the bed with liars, haters, thieves, murderers, communists, etc.

  13. I thought the Dems were all just drunk with power especially the Pres. I didn't realize they were drunk on booze too. It will be a handy excuse for their actions when this reformed health care blows up in their faces (and ours). It will be like the Harvey Milk defense "I'm not responsible because I was all likkered up at the time". These guys are just thugs and frauds who don't even listen to their constituents when they get to the hill.

  14. I can't say as I'm surprised-tho I AM sorry I missed my daily dose of this C-Span circus that's been on lately (due to the cold I got from my son for Christmas, lol).

But, the one thing that does irk me about this-WHY don't you hear any of the other Senators calling him out on the floor? If I were a Senator-EITHER side of the aisle-I'd have said "Excuse me Senator, are you DRUNK?" And if so, I'd demand that he be escorted either home, or to a drunk tank (depending on how he got there, of course)-but I certainly wouldn't have just sat there with my thumb up my bum letting him ramble on embarrassing the entire Senate as a whole! (as if they haven't done enough of that already) Ridiculous!

Thank you for posting this so that people who don't or can't watch C-Span can see what goes on for real. I will pass this on to everyone I know-via Facebook, email and word of mouth. The PEOPLE are the employers here and it's high time the PEOPLE fire these employees!

    God Bless...
