A Firefighters Fight With Government Run Health Care

To avoid further damage from abusing drugs, signing up for drug rehab programs is just about the smartest thing an addict can do.



The debate into government run health care takes us in many directions. We hear stories of people that don't have insurance and how terrible it can be, but we don't hear stories of people that have experienced the horrors of a government health bureaucracy.

This is one such story, and it deserves attention. His name is Colby Hart and he is a firefighter from California. He fell through a floor while fighting a fire, and injured his back.

This is his story and his fight with the state of California:

I was hurt on April 17th 2008 I was sent to the ER where I was medicated and sent home. I then was assigned a doctor by my house in Orange COunty, CA. After a few weeks of pain meds and muscle relaxers I started having pain in my left leg and foot along with numbness tingling and burning. I was sent to get an MRI and assigned a Primary Doctor. The MRI showed an approximately 6mm herniation at Lumbar2 and lumbar3 and L3-L4 along with an annular tear at L4- and L5. During this time I also began physical therapy but was limited to 24 sessions.

My primary doctor sent me to a surgeon who said I would need a spinal fusion or disk replacement and a microdiscectomy . He also requested a second MRI in august of 2008. it was denied along with a request for a pain management doctor. The state did not inform my lawyer of the denial for the MRI. We had to appeal and request an expedited court hearing after months of misery the pain management doctor was approved and in January 2009 The Second MRI request was approved. It showed a slight worsening of my injuries.

It also took me close to a year to get access to mental health services. I was and still am suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, anger and other issues all related to this misery.

I have also seen a surgeon on my own dime to see what he said and he agreed with the first surgeon. I wanted a second opinion in the work comp system which took a few more months. He wants to do a disc replacement and the microdiscectomy. The surgery was denied. They said it is experimental yet it is approved by the FDA. They also requested that a request be sent back to them requesting a Disco gram Test. I will be having the test on sept 5 2009. After the results are in I will need to see my surgeon and we will then take the results and again request the surgeries.

State Compensation Insurance Fund is a non-profit company that is run by the state. It is kinda run like medicaid medicare programs. My doctors and I don't make medical treatment decisions. My doctors have to request all test and procedures to be done through a medical review board which consists of Doctors, chiropractors, holistic healers and so on.

If you look into Arnold Schwarzenegger and work comp in 2004 he made many changes to the work comp system. So state regulations have taken the doctors ability to treat patients away from the doctors and given it to a review board. State Fund ins. is run by the government, if you go to their site and state looking around youll find all roads end at the government.

57% of Americans Would Like to Replace the Entire Congress


I know for sure that I am one of the 57% of Americans that would kick all the bums out...however I would leave just one person in Congress, Ron Paul.

If they could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, just 25% of voters nationwide would keep the current batch of legislators.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 57% would vote to replace the entire Congress and start all over again. Eighteen percent (18%) are not sure how they would vote.


The next question should be, why only 57%? That number should be higher, and it will be with time.

It is this blogs purpose to educate the masses on the over reaching power, and disregard that Washington has for the Constitution. These numbers are a good start, and it is only the beginning.

Federal Reserve Made $14 Billion on Turmoil Loans


The Federal Reserve, the most secretive agency of the federal government, has apparently made a huge profit during the loan crisis of the past 2 years.

From Reuters:

LONDON (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve has made $14 billion in profits on loans made in the last two years, The Financial Times reported on Monday, citing officials close to the matter.

The U.S. central bank also earned about $19 billion from interest and fees charged to institutions that tapped liquidity facilities during the global financial crisis, the report said.


The question I have for the Fed is, how about giving that money back?

They took Trillion's of the taxpayers dollars to fix this "crisis" and now is the time for them to either give it back, or use it to pay down the national debt.

The time is critical now for the Federal Reserve to be audited. Look up H.R. 1207, the bill to audit the fed, and urge your Representatives to support this legislation.

Castro to the Rescue

In your lifetime, did you ever think you would see an enemy of freedom and liberty come to the defense and promotion of an American President? Well, it has happened and it is mind-boggling. In this Reuters article you can learn about what Fidel Castro believes about you if you happen to oppose the policies of the Obama administration.

In accusing those with opposing views to be racist, Castro is using false propaganda to promote his views. Propaganda is the systematic propagation of a doctrine or cause or of information reflecting the views and interests of those advocating such a doctrine or cause. He is very skilled at this since he has been practicing it prior to 1959. You know what they say, practice makes perfect. What I find tragic is that people will believe it simply because they do not understand the history of this country and of Cuba. I am not claiming that there are not racist people in the world, so please don’t make that assumption. What I am saying is that to accuse someone of that level of evil, simply because they don’t share your political philosophy, is wrong.

If you were under the impression that you live in the same America now that you did when you were a kid these recent events will challenge that notion. The shift in political thinking has now entered even more radical territory. One moment in history a man is an avowed enemy of freedom and liberty and then next moment he rises to “hero” like status. In the video below California Democratic Representative Diane Watson praises Fidel Castro and the Communist revolution in Cuba.



This is clearly the direction our current leaders would like to take our country. I very much would like to know what Cuban Americans that risked life and limb to escape Castro’s dictatorship and find freedom here in the United States of America, are thinking right about now.

Congressional Bills Would Give Power to President to Take Emergency Contol Over the Internet


We live in a land of free speech, and free communication with one another. However, since the attacks on 9/11, a lot has changed in the way our government acts to this freedom given to us in the 1st Amendment. They have used the Patriot Act to seize control over the content of our speech, and now a couple of new bills in the Congress would take this control a step further.

Internet companies and civil liberties groups were alarmed this spring when a U.S. Senate bill proposed handing the White House the power to disconnect private-sector computers from the Internet.

They're not much happier about a revised version that aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat, have spent months drafting behind closed doors. CNET News has obtained a copy of the 55-page draft of S.773 (excerpt), which still appears to permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency.

The new version would allow the president to "declare a cybersecurity emergency" relating to "non-governmental" computer networks and do what's necessary to respond to the threat. Other sections of the proposal include a federal certification program for "cybersecurity professionals," and a requirement that certain computer systems and networks in the private sector be managed by people who have been awarded that license.


Read that again, the bill would give the President of the United States emergency power over the internet. Once this happens, there is no stopping the government from controlling us, and stripping our precious freedoms away.

The President would have control over private computers, and what is to stop them from exercising this power to spoil any hint of opposition to their policies or administration.

Hello Fascism, and goodbye Freedom...

Who is the Diversity Czar and what is his Agenda?

If you are like me you might be curious about all these “Czars” that keep getting appointed. One such “Czar” that got my attention this week is Mr. Mark Lloyd. President Obama has appointed Mr. Lloyd to the position of FCC Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer. You might wonder “why would this be important to me?” Well, I will answer that with a bit of history about Mr. Mark Lloyd’s philosophies and goals for our country.

Mr. Mark Lloyd is a senior fellow the Center For American Progress. The Center For American Progress is a group dedicated to spreading the progressive agenda. The Center For American Progress was begun in 2003 with funding from philanthropists Herbert Sandler and Marion Sandler. It is a Washington, DC-based liberal “think tank” created and led by President and Chief Executive Officer John Podesta, the head of Obama’s presidential transition team after the 2008 election and former Chief of Staff for President Bill Clinton.

Among Mr. Lloyd’s goals are the following:

Repair what is “wrong” with conservative talk radio

Restore caps on the ownership of commercial radio stations

Ensure greater local accountability over radio licensing

Require station owners who do not abide by enforceable public interest obligations to pay a fee to support public broadcasting


Now you are going to have to read between the lines here. Mark is not a fan of talk radio. I don’t think Mark is a great fan of free speech either. He is very interested in instating something known as the “Fairness Doctrine”. In a nutshell FCC government officials determine what is “fair” and what should be broadcasted. He also has some disturbing views on what is known as “Media Diversity” and “Localism”. “Media Diversity” claims to place the emphasis on a true measure of what is in the public interest, according to the government, eliminating any programming in the media that doesn’t line up with what that is determined, by the government, to be in the “interest of the people”. This should have you shaking in your boots. “Localism” would require that broadcast companies serve the “needs” of their local community and those needs would be determined of course by the government, specifically Mr. Mark Lloyd. So to sum it up this administration would like to have COMPLETE control of what you hear, read and see in the media.

I really hope no one is naïve enough to believe that the government won’t use this power to control what we think, feel or believe. To some degree all of our media very much shapes what we believe today. Do you think that government propaganda can’t possibly get out of control in The United States of America? I submit that it already is and has been for some time.

Question everything.

Fine for Pot in Denver Could Be $1


In an act of Liberty, a recommindation panel in Denver suggests that the fine for pot possession be $1.

DENVER - A city panel in charge of overseeing marijuana possession crimes in Denver recommended on Wednesday that the fine for possession be set at $1.

If Denver's presiding judge accepts the recommendation from the Denver Marijuana Policy Review Panel, the fine would be the lowest in the entire nation for marijuana possession.


One panel member suggested that "By setting the fine at just $1, we are sending a message to Denver officials that the era of citing adults for using a less harmful drug than alcohol is over. It's simply not worth the city's time or resources."

It is about time that the government get out of our lives and let us make decisions for ourselves. Marijuana is no more dangerous to our bodies than alcohol, but our governments constantly press harder and harder for restrictions to the plant.

Individuals can make decisions for themselves, and most of the time, better than the government can.

Democrats Caught Vandalizing Their Own Headquarters


It was a great plan...have one of their own smash in the windows to the headquarters building and blame it on the opposition.

One of two people suspected of shattering 11 windows Tuesday morning at the state Democratic Party headquarters has an arrest record and a history of helping a Democratic political candidate, public records show.

Police said that about 2:20 a.m., 24-year-old Maurice Schwenkler, now in custody, and an at-large accomplice took a hammer to the picture windows displaying posters touting President Barack Obama and his health care reform efforts.

Early Tuesday, Democratic Party chairwoman Pat Waak said the damage to her building in Denver's art district was a consequence of "an effort on the other side to stir up hate." She tempered her statement after Schwenkler's political history was revealed.


Talk about despicable!

This just proves that the two parties are only out to take down one another and couldn't care less about the country.

Next time they should just hire an actual Republican to make the situation work...

Attorney General Goes After CIA Interrogators

Now that Attorney General Eric Holder has "made his decision" to go ahead and appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the CIA "harsh interrogations" for possible criminal charges, I for one would like to explain why I think this is an outrage.

First of all, I view this as a political decision to go after person(s) and actions done in the Bush Administration. I do not view Eric Holder as a man of principle who is going against even the wishes of his boss, the President (more about that later). Holder is the same man who, as a Deputy Attorney General in the Clinton Administration, rammed through two of the most questionable pardons in US history; the Marc Rich pardon, of a man who was a top ten fugitive when pardoned and with all kinds of questions of money given in return to the Clinton Library; and the pardon of the Puerto Rican FALN bombers, who had not even asked for a pardon. Now comes Holder as the law enforcement crusader, the independent who seeks justice for the Khalid Sheikh Mohammeds of this world.

The other thing that irks me about this process is the public posturing of President Obama and his spokespersons who loudly proclaim that the President wants to "look forward, not backward". That is meant to leave the impression that Obama is personally opposed to a prosecution of CIA interrogators and anyone else involved, but that he will not interfere with the independence of his Attorney General.

Nonsense.

President Obama could have stopped this whole process months ago with one phone call or one word to Holder. The fact is that being the ideologue that he really is behind that moderate mask, he wants this to go forward. He wants to demoralize and emasculate the CIA. He just doesn't want to take the political heat for it. He wants to "remain above the fray". I don't see how that can work.

So where are we going with this and what will be the result? The immediate result is that many CIA interrogators, their supervisors, former Justice Department lawyers, who drew up the legal guidelines like John Woo and probably even Dick Cheney are going to go through a lot of worry in the next year or so. There will be lawyer expenses. Many CIA employees will decide it just isn't worth it to put your life and career on the line for a government that when administrations change will not stick up for you. They will retire or simply quit.

Let's review how this came about.

In the horrific aftermath of 9-11 as we began to capture al-Qaida members, Justice Department lawyers studied the question of what and what not was permissible as to incarceration and interrogation. Rightfully or wrongfully, they decided on certain procedures they thought could be performed legally. They ran it by the White House and the CIA was so advised. Those interrogators assumed they were acting within the law and according to strict guidelines.

Let's also discuss their motives. They were not acting out of motives that drove the Hitlers, Saddam Husseins and Stalins of this world-merely a desire to eliminate political enemies and stay in power, nor were they simply trying to extract confessions from criminals; they were acting to stop more 9-11s and save thousands of innocent lives.

And what were those methods? Water boarding was apparently the worst, by which they gave the prisoner the sensation of drowning. Some prisoners were slapped. Some were told their families would be killed or raped in front of them. There were apparently a couple of mock executions and sleep deprivation was also utilized. Nobody was broken on the wheel, had his fingernails pulled out or anything that resulted in serious injury. (I understand one person was beaten and later died and that the interrogator was prosecuted, but I have no further details.)

Let me interject here to reiterrate, as I have before, that as a DEA agent (who interrogated hundreds of prisoners) I would never resort to these methods. They could never be justified in normal law enforcement procedure.

The point I am coming to is that the CIA interrogators must be assumed to be honorable and patriotic persons who were under the impression they were operating within legally established guidelines and at a time of national emergency when we had no idea when the next horrific attack was coming. And it appears that those harsh interrogation methods did, in fact, thwart attacks and save lives.

So why are we going forward? Is it real politik, a gesture toward the Muslim world? It can't be a gesture toward Al-Qaida. They don't care how we treat our prisoners, good, bad or indifferent. They are going to slaughter and behead our people when they capture them no matter what. More importantly, this can only serve to emasculate and demoralize an already demoralized CIA-at a time when we need a strong and aggressive CIA. Now we see the establishment of some multi-agency task force under the supervision of and located at the FBI and reporting to the White House that will oversee terrorist interrogations. Great. As if we haven't had enough inter-agency turf wars between the CIA and FBI.

CIA Director Leon Panetta is reportedly furious and engaged in a profanity-laced argument with a White House aide at a recent White House meeting regarding this issue. I hope so. Panetta has told his employees he will fight for them. I hope so. I think Panetta is an honrable man, so I expect him to keep his word and do the right thing even if he can't influence Obama and/or Holder. As a last resort, I think a very public resignation would be in order.

This is another issue that the American people need to speak up on-just as we have on taxes and health care. We need to stand up for the people who were tasked with protecting us. If we stand silently by and allow this administration to sacrifice our intelligence operatives without a loud protest, shame on us as a people.

Whole Foods CEO Under Attack Once Again---Demands for Him to Step Down


When John Mackey, CEO of Whole Foods, suggested that the President has the health care issue all wrong, and should let the free market thrive, calls for patrons of Whole Foods to boycott were orchestrated by far left groups in an attempt to undermine the successful Chief Executive.

WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The CtW Investment Group called on the Whole Foods Market (NYSE:WFMI) board to remove CEO John Mackey as Chairman and to begin the process of naming a new CEO in a letter to Whole Foods' lead independent director, Dr. John Elstrott, yesterday afternoon. Just because a citizen of this country, in the capacity of a citizen, expresses their opinion, doesn't mean they have to lose their job. Freedom of speech goes both ways, and it is John Mackey's right to disagree with the present administrations approach to health care reform, because it could affect the business he currently runs.

A Win in the Fight to Audit the Fed!


Yesterday the Federal Reserve lost a court battle and was ordered to release the details of its emergency loan program, which it has keep secret since its implementation.

Aug. 25 (Bloomberg) -- The Federal Reserve must for the first time identify the companies in its emergency lending programs after losing a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

Manhattan Chief U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ruled against the central bank yesterday, rejecting the argument that loan records aren’t covered by the law because their disclosure would harm borrowers’ competitive positions.


If the Audit the Fed bill passed, the fed would have been legally bound to provide details, but this is a great first step in exposing this secretive agency that yields endless power over our monetary system.

Also breaking is the news that Ben Bernanke will be renominated as the chairman of the Federal Reserve, and the other big news is that the former head of the AFL-CIO will be named the head of the New York Fed.

If this is the best we can get to run our money supply, than this country is doomed...

Putting a Face on Government Run Healthcare

Oregon’s state health plan has been called a “model” for what the Obama administration would like for all of us under government run health care. This video below is heartbreaking. This woman passed away in October 2008. You can see from the video that Ms. Wagner wants to live and wants to fight her cancer. In her condition why did she have to go through this ordeal? This is wrong!

What is your life worth? What are the lives of your loved ones worth? The government thinks they have the answer to this and you don’t. Under a government run system you will be putting your medical decisions in the hands of a government crony. To the paper pusher you are just a liability, and if your death is cheaper than saving your life, then arranging your death makes more sense to him.



Please understand that government functions like a machine. It is a machine that has gotten too big and now it is becoming very dangerous. Every country that currently employs socialized healthcare now desires and is working towards revamping their disastrous and unsuccessful healthcare systems! Why would anyone in his or her right mind want to bring socialized health care to this country? If they are under the impression that there is anything “free” about it they are sorely mistaken. If they are under the impression that there are no strings attached they have been deceived.

There are current problems with our system. I don’t think anyone is denying that. There have been other options for improvement introduced, but they won’t even be heard or considered. The Obama administration seems determined to push their agenda through. The insurance industry is highly regulated by the government. This prevents the kind of competition that would aid in weeding out undesirable companies and poor insurance products. The government has been instrumental in creating the current problems we have with our health care system.

Don’t be quiet. This country is ours. Speak up for yourself and your loved ones now so that maybe in the future you or they won’t be put in the position Ms. Wagner was.

Welfare Recipient says it's "Time to Party" - Rejoicing to See Working People Lose Their Jobs and Homes. Obama's "Change".

Do you feel really good about people on welfare saying it's "time to party" as you lose your jobs and homes?? The poster below has this to say, "The way I see it is this is surely about the dollar..Gov and Pres are in a position to take away the monies they need from the rich and working class to help the poor... The so called working class, the wealthy and the rich have been loosing their homes, businesses, credit, living large lifestyles, expensive cars, and jobs. etc etc etc. The poor finally have excellent representation where it counts and it's our time to party."

Okay writers and readers a few of us have some thing to say and here's mine...I support the GOV and PRES because their for the poor folk and I'm poor...The way I see it is this is surely about the dollar..Gov and Pres are in a position to take away the monies they need from the rich and working class to help the poor..The rich and the working class don't like it because their having to give back the monies they originally took from the poor to get wealthy and also to be in the working class to get to comfortable which they got off the sweat of the poor...So the way I see it is GOV and PRES are going to see to it that they continue to look out for us poor folk...Is this FAIR and Balanced? absolutely not...It's human justice..."With out the poor their would be no working class or wealthy, or rich...Yet all these three classes of money and comfortable lifestyle people are always bad mouthing and throwing stones at the poor."HE OF YOU WHO IS WITH OUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE" The reason they do this is because by pointing their fingers at the poor they don't have to point their fingers at themselves...The so called working class, the wealthy and the rich have been loosing their homes, businesses, credit, living large lifestyles, expensive cars, and jobs. etc etc etc. The poor finally have excellent representation where it counts and it's our time to party...

There you have it. A welfare recipient sees the economy crashing and those who have worked all their lives losing everything. His response speaking for those on welfare, "It's our time to party!!" That's the real character of the government-created self-interest of those at the economic bottom-rungs of society. The underclass of welfare recipients, in greedy desire for more giveaway from communists, have given communists votes. His whole attitude reveals to us that welfare has destroyed our society and political system by creating an ignorant, greedy voting block who sees communism as in their self-interest.

Well, he understands better than most "Obamacare" and Obama's entire plank of communist "fairness" of taxation, regulation, and government control. This welfare recipient can see Obama's "change" is designed to destroy the middle and working class to turn us into slaves in a communist system.

Yet, the welfare poster above really doesn't understand that Obama is giving the nation's wealth over to big businesses and big banks Obama says are "too big to fail". Big businesses are gaining unfair government favors and government aid in cornering markets. The US government has become a fascist market-maker via unfair business practices rather than an umpire who facilitates fair business practices in a free market.

Clearly this welfare recipient is taking pleasure in working people's sufferings as they lose businesses, jobs, and homes. He trusts and believes that Obama will give him the money and property others worked for. He's so happy about the ruin others are experiencing. He's so anticipating government will steal from working people their money and property; he's so anticipating he will gain through government theft and redistribution the money and property others worked for - he says this is welfare recipients' "time to party!!".

His morals and ethics are so horrifically awful, he actually thinks people who work deserve to be impoverished. He thinks people who don't work deserve to have more than those who do work. He believes the role of government is to take money and property away from people who worked for it to give said money and property to those who have lived off the government dole and have not worked for anything.

With forces like this destroying the middle and working classes, it's time for those who love liberty to move through state legislatures to secede. Fascist communists in Washington DC, fascist big businesses, as well as the pro-communist voting block can go party at their own expense.

Our Basic Freedom is at Stake

One of the wonderful things about the United States has been the freedom we enjoy to have an opinion that differs with others. From the beginning of this great nation there were individuals that had varying ideas about the way things needed to be run. Yet, they came together on principles like justice (the quality of being just; righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness) domestic peace, defending ourselves, promoting opportunity for individuals to prosper and securing freedom for our citizens. The United States Constitution opens with the following paragraph:

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

What needs to be understood irregardless of where you reside on the political map, be it democrat, republican, libertarian, moderate or independent, is that you have the right to your opinion and beliefs solely because freedom is valued and taken seriously in this country. I might add that the freedom we enjoy has come with much sacrifice. What should get your attention is the current threat of shutting down your freedom of speech via the use political correctness (the speech police), manipulation of the media and the flat out bullying of individuals that dare to state their opinion. The alarms should be sounding off everywhere! That philosophy and attitude, my friends, threatens us all! We should all have the right to disagree. We should all have the right to voice what we believe and live our lives accordingly without threat of prosecution or persecution. When you seek to silence another because they don’t adhere to your political philosophy you cut away at the very fabric of this nation and that is UNPATRIOTIC! Abraham Lincoln said this:
Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it.

We must be very sober about denying freedom to others, lest one day it may be denied to us. You may not agree with a view point, but to deny another from having it will not get you anywhere and in fact will probably prove to be quite costly in terms of your own freedom. History has taught us that.

The extreme political left of our country has set out to smear anyone who does not agree with them. They have name called and told us we just flat out don’t know what is good for us. Somehow, they are of the opinion that because they are elected officials that they are somehow superior to hard working, law abiding and tax paying citizens. They have forgotten whom they work for and whose tax dollars pay their salaries. Just two years ago Nancy Pelosi was applauding anyone who would question the policies of our government. We may not agree on many things. That is and should be ok! One thing most all us can agree on is that freedom is a hard fought benefit of living in the United States and we do not want to lose it. For the sake of our children and future generations we all need to come together and fight for this most basic, yet valuable and unique American value. United we stand, divided…well you know. America Belongs to Americans

According to the Associated Press "The Washington Post-ABC News survey found that less that half of Americans — 49 percent — say they believe the president will make the right decisions for the country. That's down from 60 percent at the 100-day mark of the Obama presidency." [1]

How can the President's approval rating be at 57% when more than half America has lost faith in the president ability to do what is right for this country? I am certain that at least 51% of Americans have lost faith in President Obama's ability to lead this country. I am also certain that at least 51% of Americans no longer trust the President and now realize that the change he was selling during his Presidential campaign is now seen as his agenda to transform America into a socialist nation. He has repeatedly done the opposite of what he has said and has failed to deliver on a single campaign promise. He has increased the National Debt by nearly nine trillion dollars since he has been in office only six months. He is accusing Americans of bearing false witness to his health care reform when he himself is the center of the disinformation campaign.

The stimulus package has done nothing to put American's back to work. The unemployment rate for the August is on the rise and the 0.1% drop reported in the July’s unemployment rate is only due to a delay in Americans filing for unemployment. The month of August will see a much larger unemployment rate well above 9.4% and the unemployment rate will be near or exceed the 11% mark by the end of August or early September. In just one year the unemployment rate in Maryland has gone from just above 4% to well over 7%. n some states the home foreclosure rate is as high as 15%. In Maryland it has reached 12.4% in the month of August. How can anyone even begin to try to say the economy is improving? Our Members of Congress have lost their way and are focusing on health care when what American's need are jobs. Americans are losing their faith at an ever increasing rate as Congress and the new Administration fail to address unemployment, foreclosures, and a failing economy. Only 100 million dollars has been spent from the stimulus bill. Cash for clunkers has failed and has been put on the chopping block. Just like every other American the Automobile Dealership are holding their breath waiting for reimbursement from the government. I suggest everyone take a deep breath and realize that more impending doom is on the way. President Obama is pushing H.R. 3200 Americas Affordable Health Choices act in order to put doctors and health care providers under the Union Umbrella. Don't hold you breathe America, take a deep breath and start sending campaign donations to those individuals who you think will represent America in the best interest of Americans.

President Obama and Members of Congress have and will continue to let us down. I hope there is something left of America come 2012 and I hope that America will make her voice heard in 2010 and deplete the Congress of those self serving politicians who are selling America down the river. . Where are the jobs Mr. President? Where are the jobs Ms. Pelosi? Where are the jobs Ms. Boxer? Americans are fed up with politicians in Washington. The voice you are hearing is America it is not “Manufactured Anger”, an “Angry Mob”, “Astroturf”, or Nazi’s it is the Voice of Freedom. Americans want their freedom preserved and they are not going to let the Clown’s running the Circus give it away.

Speak up America and speak with the voice of freedom. Let the President and the Members of Congress know that America belongs to Americans and we are sick and tired of their self serving agendas. Remind our Members of Congress that we elect them and not the President of the United States and let them know that election day is on it’s way and perhaps they will be picking up their hats, and their coats, and leaving Washington very soon if they don’t start paying attention to America.

The Anti-War Conservative Stance

I see American interventions in the Middle East as counterproductive and costly. We're really not safer because we're in Iraq in any way I can see. The CIA tells us that there were no Al-Queda in Iraq until after we invaded. Over a million Iraqis and 5,000 American soldiers have died since our occupation. The cost-benefit analysis seems pretty clear-cut to me.

I have also witnessed our freedoms as citizens in the USA erode since we got involved "over there". A Republican Congress along with Democratic support continued to vote garbage legislation like the "Patriot" Act into law, and the so-called "antiwar" Democrats continue to vote to fund the war, which is a mystery to me.

Plus, as one notable conservative mind of the 20th century said, "war is the health of the state". The longer we stay overseas, the bigger government gets. It has to tax us more, borrow more, inflate more, and spy on us more.

So while I entered the political arena as a pro-war, Big Government Republican, I will now remain a firmly antiwar, small government Libertarian.

One qualifier- being Anti War does not mean being pacifist. I simply think that war should be a final last resort and that the military should focus on our borders and ports rather than someone else's. Plus I have Jesus on my side (haha, had to throw that in there).

I'm sickened by the extreme left demonstrations that seem to blame the troops for the war. They're doing their jobs well and honorably. Blame the politicians, not the troops.

And that's my stand. Anyone care to honestly agree, disagree, comment?

Obama and Gang Dealing With Brazil for Oil

The picture is getting less and less fuzzy. It is all coming into perfect focus. All you have to do it take a good look. Out of one side of their mouths the Obama administration preaches about the environment, global warming and trying to repair our economy by creating “green jobs”. They won’t lift a ban that would allow any oil exploration in Alaska or along the East and West Coasts of the United States. Exploration in the Gulf of Mexico might be a possibility, but that is moving at snails pace for some reason. Meanwhile, American businesses struggle to survive, balance high fuel costs with rising supply and material costs in a hurting economy where our unemployment is almost in the double digits.

Recently Obama and his buddies made a little deal with Brazil. Did you hear about it? There is a company that is state owned and operated by Brazil by the name of Petrobras. Petrobras would like get financing to undertake exploration of a huge offshore oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Petrobras is a little short on cash and guess who is going to loan them money to undertake this event? Why…. you are. Aren’t you excited? Your taxpayer dollars, in the amount of 2 million dollars, and probably even more than that eventually, will be loaned to Brazil so they can get their hands on that oil. Brazil stands to be a leading oil exporter.

Why would an administration so bent on being green and keeping mother earth untouched agree to such a dastardly deed? Where are the screaming environmentalists? Where are the green police? Al Gore, why are you not having a conniption? Come on Angie and Brad! Oprah, look at what your guy is up to! Where is the outrage?

Ah, things people will do for their friends. Well, they say the devil is in the details. George Soros, good buddy of Mr. Obama, has positioned himself to profit heavily from this action. Soros bought 5.8 million of the company’s U.S.-traded preferred shares just days before the deal was struck by the Obama administration. It is pretty easy to see where Obama’s loyalties are and they don’t seem to be with the interests of his own country.

So let me get this straight. Obama, who is so “concerned” for our environment and our hurting economy, is taking U.S. dollars that we apparently don’t have because of our colossal debt and loaning this money to Brazil to deflower their pristine ocean floor in search for oil. We desperately need a less expensive oil source and our own resources would be ideal as far as expense is concerned. Yet, no go for the good old USA. Anyone see anything wrong with this picture? I think it is pretty clear now, don’t you? It is all a little bit cheesy if you ask me.

Mexico Decriminalizes Small-Scale Drug Possession--When Will the U.S.?


Mexico has taken a step in instituting more freedom for their citizens by decriminalizing small amounts of drug possession...so when is the United States gonna follow suit?

MEXICO CITY — Mexico decriminalized small amounts of marijuana, cocaine and heroin on Friday — a move that prosecutors say makes sense even in the midst of the government's grueling battle against drug traffickers.


At some point in our countries history they will need to realize that people know how to live their lives better than the government does. While drugs can do damage to your body (except marijuana) does it really hurt anybody else? Are others rights in danger because the guy in the trailer park snorts coke? Probably not, and the federal government needs to realize this fact.

Individual choice reigns supreme in the minds of Americans because we know our history. It was the principle of the founding fathers, but over the years, our government has seen fit to dictate how we live our lives. They have instituted a nanny state to tell us what is good for us and what is bad.

Freedom to be left alone is essential in a free society, and with the current drug policies we have in this country, we don't have that freedom readily available.

Drugs, Freedom, and the DEA

It's always interesting to converse with people who are otherwise
pro-freedom (e.g., true liberals, conservatives, etc....) until it comes to
the issue of national drug policy. Then things seem to go haywire; at least
that's what it seems like. I've heard many well-meaning objections, such as
"drug use is immoral", "drugs cause other crimes", "drugs hurt children,
families, etc..." All of which are true, but that does not address the issue
which pertains to the problems that America faces today regarding the War on
Drugs.

The War on Drugs was created by President Ronald Reagan in the 80's as an
effort to raise drug prices in order to discourage use. This was put into
motion by the creation of the Drug Enforcement Agency, new laws in place to
criminalize possession, the invalidation of many state laws, etc....

Fast forward to 2009. Cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, etc.... have all dropped in
price since the drug war began. The only illegal substance that has seen a
marked rise in price is marijuana, by far the safest out of all of these. So
by that simple definition alone, the federal War on Drugs is a colossal
failure. Not to mention the fact that it's much easier now to get drugs than
it was then; and a lot cooler. All prohibition of substances like this does
is create a rise in demand for the drug, and put the profits into the black
market of dealers and suppliers instead of legitimate (albeit shady) honest
business owners, farmers, etc. Just as Prohibition by the socialist
Progressives of the 20's created organized crime in America, the War on
Drugs has created a culture of disobedience and crime that is arguably far
worse than the problem it claimed to fix.

The fact is, more people are addicted to harmful drugs now (when they are
illegal) as they were before (when each state dictated its own policy). So a
simple cost-benefit analysis renders the War on Drugs a failure as well.

Also, from a philosophical perspective, it's hard- well, actually,
impossible- to have a small government when federal agents can violate civil
liberties and personal property at will in order to regulate the bad habits
of consenting adults. Only the statists- the big government advocates in
both parties- can possibly be satisfied or happy with that reality.

So if you are a true conservative, you will most certainly reject the tired
ideology that Uncle Sam knows what's best for you, and instead embrace what
we are actually trying to "conserve"- that is, the Constitution of the USA
as it was originally intended. Therefore, since the Fed is given no
jurisdiction in the area of legal, illegal, or even prescription drugs for
that matter, it's best to support a drug policy dictated by lawmakers and
citizens of each state rather than a draconian failure of a federal
standard.

So this isn't a moral-immoral issue. This isn't a nice-mean, a
pothead-clean, or a religious- non religious issue.

This is, at its core, a big government-small government issue. This is
whether or not the government should be able to step in and prevent you from
being unhealthy. (Sounds ridiculous, since if it did that I guess we'd all
have to be in straightjackets being force fed vitamins all day).

So any true conservatives, liberals, libertarians, etc...- who truly believe
that what's right and wrong should be dictated by one's conscience, one's
standing with God, one's family & community, instead of some lawmaker or
lobbyist in Washington- will rightly oppose the embarassing, unneccessary,
creepy, and illegal War On Drugs.

Statists, Communists, Fascists, and everyone else who thinks government is
your parent, have at it. As for me, I'll make my own decisions for what I
put in my body, and live with the consequences, good or bad, and take
responsibility for it. It's the hallmark of the American experiment.

Whether You Live or Die - Who Decides??


Who decides whether you should live or die?? According to Obama, that decision will be made by Government bureaucrats controlling who receives care. Obama is quoted saying recently to religious leaders, "We are God's partners in matters of life and death."

Under the single payer government healthcare system in England, if you are over 55 years old, you will be denied kidney dialysis treatment. You don't get a choice. The State has decided you will die.

Kidney failure is fatal, if you can’t get dialysis. In Britain, you are ineligible for this life-saving treatment once you reach the age of 55. (Assn of American Physicians and Surgeons, Inc.)

Is that what we want in the United States of America?? Do we want bureaucrats and politicians stating, "We are God's partners in matters of life and death" deciding who lives or dies based on age?? Do we want the control and power to choose our own care taken away from us and our families??

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is Obama's top healthcare advisor. Dr. Emanuel advocates denying us life and death care based on age:

In Dr. Emanuel’s writings, he overtly advocates the rationing of healthcare based on age. In January 2009, just one month prior to taking his new position at the White House, Dr. Emanuel co-wrote an article entitled, “Principles for allocation of scarce medical interventions”, in the British medical journal The Lancet. In this article he advocates a particular healthcare allocation system which he calls the “complete lives system.” He declared in The Lancet article that in healthcare, “scarcity is the mother of allocation." He explains, “This system (complete lives system) incorporates five principles: youngest-first, prognosis, save the most lives, lottery, and instrumental value. As such, it prioritizes younger people who have not yet lived a complete life and will be unlikely to do so without aid.”

In other words, Dr. Emanuel places a higher value on a young adult's life, than he would the life of a senior. He goes further. He flatly declares that “Consideration of the importance of complete lives also supports modifying the youngest-first principle by prioritizing adolescents and young adults over infants.” From his standpoint, society has already made an economic investment in the lives of young adults whereas no significant investment has yet been made in the lives of infants, so therefore it’s only “fair” that resources be allocated toward the young adults and away from the infants. He also applies this standard to those that he deems of no societal worth such as people with Down syndrome. (From Political Evidence.com)


Who decides whether you live or die?? You or the State??


Here's Obama's "philosophy": "We are God's partners in matters of life and death." Separation of Church and State must separate the State from playing God in deciding who is denied care - who lives or dies. We must not allow the State to deny us care based on age. We must not allow the State to play God to determine the value of our lives.

Matters of life and death must be a patient's individual right. We must reject central Government healthcare in order to maintain individual rights, liberty, power, and control of whether we live or die. That's not for the State to decide.

The Protests Need to Move Beyond Health Care--Resist Both Parties


Americans have expressed their anger in the past couple of months against the Obama and Democratic health care plan, and rightfully so. This health care bill would destroy the fundamental belief in this country that freedom and liberty prevail at all costs, but it is not the only thing that the American people should be angry about.

There is so much more that the government does to this country that takes away our God given right to be left alone, but most of the time the American people just sit back and let them have their cake. There was a little outrage with the cap and trade bill, but not like we are seeing with health care. The next item on their socialistic agenda is the Real I.D., or national I.D. card, and that deserves this type of attention as well.

But, what I would like to see is the people standing up to both parties. Were was this type of outrage when the Patriot Act was passed? While members of Congress thought it was a good idea at the time, it eventually turned out to be one of the biggest rapes of our individual liberties.

Both Republican and Democrats have made it a point to seek control over our lives, and most of the time we sit back and let them have their fun. It is only when the an organized effort by a party that the people decide to stand up. They let the same leaders that have perpetrated this assault on our liberties take control of the message and dictate what to protest.

This needs to stop, and a Revolution of ideas conducted by the people themselves needs to take hold. The Republican Party needs to step out of the way and take the big portion of this outrage because they abandoned principle to allow themselves a chance at power.

Remember, we have a right to be left alone, and that is a right worth fighting for. No matter what party is doing it to the people.

Waking Up











Waking Up

As the progressives of the Democratic Party continue to push their agenda with Mr. Obama at the helm, people are beginning to wake up. I heard one woman from a town hall meeting make the statement that they, referring to the current administration, have "awakened a sleeping giant." I think they would have preferred that we stayed asleep, walked around in our drowsy trance and tuned into American Idol like good zombies. They had hoped we would continue to focus on the left hand all the while not paying attention to what the right hand is doing. I have news for you, the American people are getting tired of the cheap parlor tricks and we are paying attention!



Many people are under the impression that these individuals have appeared out of nowhere and are new on the scene. Nothing could be further from the truth. Progressive and socialist agenda can be traced back to the turn of the century and probably even before then. This agenda has been cleverly and quietly inserted into many of our country’s laws, statutes and social programs for decades. What has grabbed the attention of the American people is the "lightning" like speed Obama and his administration have pushed through many of their policies and how blatantly far left those policies are! That has been possibly been their biggest mistake thus far. Progressives of the past have been subtle and a lot more discreet. I guess Mr. Obama didn’t study the socialist play book very well.



The response of the administration and of the sympathetic and elitist leftist media (emphasis on the pathetic) has been to have a ridiculous pity party and whine about the "Brooks Brother’s mob", angry soccer moms and pitch fork carrying senior citizens questioning their agenda. Is that really the best they can do? Really, it is all terribly nauseating, boring and immature. The demonizing of hard working American citizens is backfiring on this ambitious, yet short-sited administration. The alarm clock is going off. Watch out, the sleeping giant is waking up!

What is to become of them?



When I listen to the issues surrounding the health care debate, I look back at the last eight years of my mother's life and how the system dealt with her. I think her experience with the health care system is relevant to today's arguments.

My mother died this past May from complications due to pneumonia. She was 88. Her death ended eight years of chronic illness and suffering. Prior to December 2001, my mother was leading a healthy and independent life in North Carolina. That all ended when she suffered a sudden stroke.

As soon as the stroke happened, I flew to Greensboro, North Carolina, where she was hospitalized. The stroke had hit the left side of her brain leaving her right side greatly impaired. For five weeks, she remained in the hospital as doctors dealt with a host of side issues. Along the way, she received physical and speech therapy, and I was given training how to assist a person who was wheel-chair bound-as she now was.

As far as her insurance was concerned, she had Medicare, as well as a secondary insurance company that she got as part of her employment when she was working. There were some co-pays, but nothing that was too expensive. (I took over all of her financial and legal affairs).

After her release from the hospital, it was agreed that since she could no longer live alone, my wife and I would take her back home with us to California. For the next three years, Mom lived at home with us in various states of wellness or sickness. Generally, it was one medical issue after another. By now, she was able to get around in a walker, but her life had changed so drastically.

After three years, my wife and I decided that we could no longer give Mom the amount of care she required. We decided on a board and care home in the area. These are single-family homes, privately run, with room for about 6 residents. The care-givers are usually not licensed nurses, but the patients don't require constant nursing care. They are a cheaper alternative to a nursing home and usually more pleasant as well. They are generally not covered by insurance, so they are out-of-pocket. My wife and I helped share the expense of the board and care.

There were several occasions when my mother had to go into the hospital, after which she was entitled to go to a skilled nursing facility for 2-4 weeks for rehabilitation. Between Medicare and her secondary insurance, everything was covered. Over the years, there were also MRIs, cat scans and doctor visits on a constant basis. When she was about 85, she had a pacemaker inserted. She also had laser eye surgery. Her numerous prescription drugs involved some out of pocket expense, but most of the cost was covered.

In the next few years, Mom's savings dwindled (she was living on Social Security and her investments). It was the board and care cost that was the biggest expense. At a certain point, she qualified for MediCal, the California branch of Medicaid. Once I got her enlisted in MediCal, virtually everything was covered-even dental.

I think that during those eight years, I gained quite an insight into the life of the sick and elderly. It is not a pretty picture. We saw many of my Mom's housemates pass away and shared their families' grief. It is all too clear to me that the bulk of medical costs are spent in the last years of life.

What I am coming to is this: In my mother's case, the system worked pretty well (with the exception of the California dental plan system). With Medicare, for all its failings, they served my mother well as did her secondary health insurance. My mother never went broke from out-of pocket medical expenses or prescription drugs. I know what I am talking about because I handled everything for her.

I can't help wondering how this new government plan would have served my mother. Would she have received MRIs, cat scans and a pacemaker? Or would she have been told to "take a pill instead of having the operation", as President Obama himself suggested? As it was, my mother never had an operation because she didn't want one, nor would she probably have survived one. But it was never a case of somebody else deciding it was not cost effective.

So was it cost effective to give Mom a pacemaker? Probably not. Nor was it probably cost effective to give her an MRI or a cat scan. But when we, as a society or as a government, start making those determinations, we lose our soul as a people. At that point, we are on the road to euthanasia, which is what they are doing today in The Netherlands. It is also what the Nazis did in the late 1930s with their mentally ill and handicapped people, whom they dubbed, "useless eaters" and "life unworthy of life". This they did before they ever sent the first Jew into a gas chamber. This pre-dated the Holocaust.

The present health care system may, indeed, need reform as well as health care insurance. I, however, am not willing to throw away the system that my mother lived under for this great unknown that is buried in over 1,000 pages of the Obama health plan.

When you look at the scenes of angry people at these town hall meetings, you notice that they are not young troublemakers. They are middle-aged and elderly. They know what is at stake for them personally. That is why they are so emotional. Our government should be listening to them instead of calling them, "thugs".

Barney Frank Lashes Out Against the "Mob"

Barney Frank held his first town hall meeting since the implementation of the "mob" and he had some choice words for the people that elected him to office.



He says he respects free speech, but when it goes against him and what he believes than it is considered not thoughtful.

What about the back lash that President Bush experienced? He was dressed up like Hitler in protests as well.

Defending the American Dream

I was an intern for a great organization last summer and I continue to support them in all of their efforts. Americans for Prosperity is a huge non-profit organization with great reach inside this country just waiting to expand and they are having their national summit this coming October on the Oct 2nd and 3rd in Arlington, VA at the Crystal Gateway Marriott .

I had gone to my state chapter's one in 2008 and in 2009, both events were truly amazing events considering the people who they get to speak are truly great. $79 for early admission, $39 for student admission and a family up to 6 for $159. Leftists Cover Tracks at Alhambra Town Hall

It was interesting to see the backwards sense of unity the left keep, when I went to my local town hall. As I advanced into the crowd with a don't tread on me flag, I heard Adam Schiff (communist, alhambra) talking about the need to "take care of the children" which I met with a natural response of "what about the f##%@ng children at waco you commie?"

I was then assaulted by a lady in her mid 30s, short, with blonde hair.
It wasn't the first time someone would come up to me and grab me or shove me that night.

What was interesting about this woman however, is that when I told her, "don't touch me that's assault" she initially wanted to get the police involved, but when she saw I wasn't going to back down, another left wing thug told her "leave the kid alone"

At first glance, one might think it to be an act of kindness. Perhaps this second woman had a son who was in college herself, and had some sort of maternal instinct that transcended her left wing agenda. However, as I saw more of the same later that night, I don't think that was the case. I think the only reason they told her to back off, was that they knew who would be arrested.

These communist agitators are one hundred percent coward, plain and simple.
They are the political equivalent of the schoolyard bully, they provoke you, get in your face, and call the teacher (or police, as it were) when you stand up to them.

I pray for the day when an armed citizenry, shows them an amount of compassion equal to that which they have shown their political opponents.

Today the American people are more afraid than ever before, not because of terrorism or the threat there of, not because of an ever shrinking economy, and not even about whether they’ll be able to pay the rent; but they are afraid of losing their freedoms, their liberties, and their rights. For over 20 years Presidents and Congress’s both Democratic and Republican have been damaging our country with unconstitutional laws, bills, and acts.

Before yesterday I had never read the Patriot Act of 2001 or of 2008. The 2001 Patriot Act was passed by a Republican Congress, while the 2008 Patriot Act was passed by a Democratic Congress. As I said I had not read the bill/act until just yesterday after hearing something; Judge Andrew Napolitano has said. He stated that: “The Patriot Act allowed for federal officials to write their own search warrants…” Not believing everything I hear on TV or on the internet, I went and looked it up and come to find out it was absolutely true.

The Act states and I quote: “…enforcement officers designated or authorized by the Board or a reserve bank under paragraph (1) or (2) are authorized while on duty to carry firearms and make arrests without warrants for any offense against the United States committed in their presence, or for any felony…” That statement gave Police Officers authorized by the federal government, to write their own arrest warrants…” If the government can just say write your own warrant, what is it for the government to just say, you don’t need a warrant just go on in…

Ladies and gentlemen I have been blogging about the Amendments to the Constitution; which Amendment does this bill violate? Let’s look here: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and ‘NO WARRANTS SHALL ISSUE, BUT UPON PROBABLY CAUSE, SUPPORTED BY OATH OR AFFIRMATION,’ and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

I don’t know I may have given it away there, but I believe and so do many others that, this bill especially this statement violates the Constitution of the United States, and therefore is Unconstitutional. Now let me make a statement here before everyone goes crazy on me here. I understand why the Congress, the President and members of the United States Government thought they needed this power. It was after September 11, 2001 the government wanted to make sure that the people were protected. …BUT… It is not the government’s job to keep us safe, and that is illustrated by this Supreme Court opinion: “…A government and its agents are under no general duty to provide public services, such as police protection, to any particular individual citizen… (Warren v. District of Columbia)” The only job that the President has, is to keep the citizens of the United States Free. The job of the Congress is to pass laws that keep American’s free and the Supreme Court’s job is to eliminate laws that make American’s less free. THAT IS IT!!!

It is not President Bush’s job to keep us safe,

It is not President Obama’s job to keep us safe,

It was not President Clinton’s job to keep us safe,

It is not a President’s job to keep the country safe, the reason it is not their job to do such things is because doing so would interfere with the American people’s rights, and liberties… The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, allows citizens to keep themselves safe. We have a military that keeps America safe, and we have a police force, that could come or go as it did during the Katrina disaster…

The founding fathers of this country knew that if invaded, or if attacked by a foreign country, or by internal forces, it would take the government too long to arrive that is why the American people have the right to keep… and … Bear… Arms… The American people have the right to defend themselves and their fellow citizens…

So while the American people are afraid of their rights being taken away, we see an increase in gun sales, we see a decrease in taxes being paid, and we see citizens going to their “Representatives,” and telling them to get on the ball.

America must stand up and speak out, use your voice as your weapon…
Bring your video cameras to the town hall meetings use your video cameras as your weapon of freedom.
Let your voice be heard by the masses and by the YOUR REPRESENTATIVES, because as the word implies they represent you, not the other way around…

Ladies and gentlemen, you are being considered un-American if you stand up and protest, let’s show them that standing up and protesting is the most American thing a citizen can do. Let’s show them, that their thoughts and opinions don’t matter, because it is our thoughts and opinions that they represent…

Let’s take our country back, let’s replace the bad Congressional Members, and the bad Senatorial Members, and replace them with people who will actually do what their job entails, which is to represent their constituents.

Public Option Back on the Table in Health Care Reform


I warned against celebrating to early about the idea of the White House backing off the public option portion of the health care bill. It appears that they have flip flopped on the issue and now stand fully behind a public option for health reform in this country.

WASHINGTON -- The White House fell into full retreat yesterday from its earlier surrender of Democratic plans for a massive new government-run insurance agency as part of its health-care reform bid.

The Obama administration now says it remains fully behind the idea of a "public option" for government-run insurance, despite clear signals over the weekend from top officials that the public option is not a deal-breaker and is just a "sliver" of the overall reforms it seeks.


These idiots in Washington care more about their power share than they do the will of the American people. The people don't support the idea of a public option, but the Congress and this Administration seem to have no care for our will.

We need to continue the fight if we want to preserve our liberties. The people are being pushed aside for the sake of a radical agenda that is not supported by the people.

It is time to reclaim our rights as free men and women in this country...so keep the pressure up on your Congressman to not support the destruction of freedom and liberty.

More Advertisers Pull Ads from Glenn Beck


Last week we reported on Obama's little cronies trying to silence Glenn Beck by urging his advertisers to pull their ads from his show. This is apparently in response to a comment he made about the President being a racist.

It now appears that the group ColorofChange, which Obama's green jobs czar Van Jones has direct ties to, has convinced 8 other companies, which include WalMart, CVS, and Best Buy, to pull their ads.

Everyone needs to get hold of these companies and demand that they respect the right to free speech, and not cower to the pull of the Obama Administration.

While these companies do have a right to pull any ads they want at any time, it is unprofessional to do so by being forced into this action by members of the government. This is a back door attempt to silence Beck and others that disagree with the Administration.
