He may be right, and I'm all for cutting spending drastically, but he has called for cutting aid to Israel. I agree we should stop the majority of our foreign aid but let's not cut off our true friend Israel. Let's start with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen,....

This is true though, how can we help them when the money we send is not our own to give? We must make these cuts in order to gain our own steam, then we will be in a position to help others. The people need to rise to the occasion and help each other. Not the government.It will hurt to make this country grow again, but without a good pruning we will wither. I don't know about you, but I am sick of hearing of store houses full of relief donations held by the hurting peoples own government because no one can pay the import tax on them (see Haiti, for example). We are fueling nothing but greed, and with what? Borrowed fuel? I am sorry but it does not add up. Look up at the top left hand side of the screen. Unless we make those numbers slow, and begin to reverse into the positive, the country will die.
As someone I really admire once said:
"Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye?"
He's probably right. They are both totally bankrupt.
