Our constitution is being stomped on and ignored on a daily basis by the present adminstration. What are we going to do without our constitution?

Actually President Lincoln went against the Supreme courts ruling in the 1857 case (Dred Scott v. Sanford. which stated basically that slavery was legal) when he issued The Emancipation Proclamation. The supreme Court does not make the laws of this country, Congress does. It is the Supreme courts task to interpret them and insure that they don't violate the U.S. Constitution. The Dred Scott v. The Constitution establishes the three branches of government. Obama has shown nothing but disregard for the Constitution, so this act should be of no surprise. The Supreme Court Justices were very restrained, kuddos to them. Even though the Supreme Court is made up of hand selected justices, picked based on thier supposed support, left or right, for issues, the judges usually do a decent job of at least portraying impartiality outside the courtroom. thier response to the childish attack and applause was comendable. I could not believe the President of members of Congress would take advantage of a branch of gevernment like that. They all claim to follow the Constitution, then show it such disrespect. Terrible!!! And the President was the head cheerleader.
